Provide help for our bats with our range of bat friendly roof tiles.

Did you know that all UK bats and their roosts are protected by law? The Wildlife and Countryside Act introduced in 1981, gave legal protection to all bat species and their roosts in England.

Distinct species of bats prefer differing places to roost. The two most usually found species of bat in the UK are the Pipistrelle and Brown Long-Eared Bat. Pipistrelle prefer confined spaces such as under tiles on roofs and hanging spaces. The Brown Long-Eared Bat prefer roof timbers and ridges inside lofts. Heritage Clay Tiles can provide purpose made access points within your roof tiles or ridge tiles. The Bat Tile Set can form part of a mitigation package required by law for existing roosts or as potential access where a roost had not previously been present.

High Quality Roof Tiles

High quality roof tiles from Heritage Clay Tiles Ltd increase curb appeal

As a homeowner, the exterior of your property is one of the first things people will notice as they drive by. For this reason, you want to show a home that is well-kept and maintained. A great way to boost the overall look and appeal of your home is by investing in high quality roof tiles.

Investing in high quality roof tiles can turn an outdated-looking house into one that stands out for all of the right reasons, making it possible for you to increase your curb appeal and add value to your home over time.

Potential buyers are far more likely to want to look at a property that has clearly been looked after than a shabby, run down property. Not every buyer has the time or the energy to save a few thousand pounds buying a 'fixer upper'!

Professional installation and maintenance of high quality roof tiles

Do you want to have a new roof installed, or do you need to maintain an existing one? Well, either way, you should hire professional roofing contractors who follow industry best practices. A proper installation is crucial for the longevity and performance of your roof, so you want to ensure that the job is done right the first time. After all, why pay for high quality roof tiles that are not fitted properly? Also, a poorly fitted roof could potentially cost you far more than the installation fee when water wrecks your home or the first gust rips off a few tiles.

Experienced professionals have the necessary skills and knowledge to identify potential issues and prevent future problems, which could save you significant time and money in the long run. Trusting in professionals for installation and maintenance will give you peace of mind knowing that your roof is in good hands.

High quality roof tiles are the foundation of a well constructed roof

The roof on your property is more than just a functional necessity; it's a key part of the overall aesthetic appeal of your home. That's why it's so important to choose high quality roof tiles that not only look great but can stand up to the extreme weather that they will be subjected to as well.

With options like gorgeous slate, or durable high quality roof tiles made from clay, you can enhance the appearance of your home while adding long-lasting protection against even the toughest of weather conditions. Choosing the right roofing materials is an investment in your home, so choosing high quality roof tiles is the smart choice!

Get the overall look right with high quality roof tiles from Heritage Clay Tiles Ltd

A common thing that many homeowners overlook is the coordination between the roofing materials and the overall style and colour scheme of their property. Your roofing material choices can either make or break the curb appeal of your home. It can literally be the difference between making the sale or not.

When you select roofing materials that match or coordinate with the exterior paint and architectural style of your house, you can create a visually appealing look that enhances the overall curb appeal. Whether you opt for regal slate or traditional and classic clay roof tiles, the right roofing material will be sure to get the desired colour and style coordination for your home. But whatever roof tile you choose, just ensure that you choose high quality roof tiles.

By choosing to have high quality roof tiles installed on your property, you will be adding value and aesthetic appeal to your property. What you spend on the new roof will pay for itself when you come to sell the house.

A new roof covered in high quality roof tiles is a veritable magnet for the potential house buyer, as a good quality roof, particularly a recently installed one will offer them a great deal of peace of mind and confidence in the purchase.

Having a roof clad in high quality roof tiles are a sure fire way of securing that sale, so why settle for anything less?

A little information about Suffolk

Beccles in Suffolk

Beccles is a typical market town and civil parish in the county of Suffolk. The town is shown on the milestone as 109 miles from London via the A145 and A12 roads, 98 miles north-east of London as the crow flies, 16 miles south-east of Norwich and 33 miles north-northeast of the county town of Ipswich. Nearby towns include Lowestoft to the east and Great Yarmouth to the north-east. The town lies on the River Waveney on the edge of The Broads National Park.

History of Beccles in Suffolk

The name is conjectured to be derived from Becc-Liss, meaning Small-court, as well as Bece-laes, meaning Meadow by Stream, as well as a contraction of Beata Ecclesia, the name of the Christian temple erected in about 960 by the monks of the monastery of Bury. Once a flourishing Anglian river port, it lies in the Waveney valley and is a popular boating centre. The town was granted its Charter in 1584 by Elizabeth I.

Sir John Leman, who died in 1632, was a tradesman from Beccles who became Lord Mayor of London.

Long associated with Beccles is the Peck family. Among those Pecks who have made a place in history is the Rev. Robert Peck, described by Blomfield in his history of Norfolk as a man with a 'violent schismatic spirit' who led a movement within the church of St Andrew's in nearby Hingham, Norfolk, in opposition to the established Anglicanism of the day. The Puritan Peck was eventually forced to flee to Hingham, Massachusetts, founded by many members of his parish, where he resided for several years, until King Charles I had been executed and Oliver Cromwell had taken the reins of government. Robert Peck then elected to return to Hingham, Norfolk, and resumed as rector of St Andrew's Church. He died in Hingham but left descendants in America.

In 1794, Francois-Rene de Chateaubriand, while in exile, taught French language and literature in the Suffolk town of Beccles. He fell in love with Charlotte Ives, daughter of Bungay's reverend.

Under the Municipal Corporations Act 1835 the Suffolk borough was reformed, Beccles retaining municipal borough status until the reorganisation of local government in 1974, when it was merged with surrounding authorities to become Waveney District. The successor civil parish has adopted town status.
